Workers and Contractors Rules |
| The Road Maintenance & Security Board of Directors have unanimously passed the following rules and regulations to make the Wolf Laurel Resort a better, quieter and more enjoyable place to live. All contractors, subcontractors and workers who enter the gate shall be subject to these rules and regulations. Violation by any company or person can subject the violator to being barred from entry through the gate into Wolf Laurel for a period of time or permanently, fines of up to $100 for each violation or other relief. Each contractor must sign this agreement in order that there is no question regarding same. |
| 1. Quiet Hours: There shall be no loud trucks, construction work or yard noise (e.g. chain saws, weed eaters, leaf blowers, air compressors, generators or other machines which make noise) before 7 am or after 7 pm Monday through Saturday and never on Sunday. |
| 2. Worker Noise: There shall be no loud radios or loud or profane talk from any workers while employed within the gate at Wolf Laurel. |
| 3. Right-of-ways: No construction material or waste containers shall be placed on any road right-of-way without permission from Wolf Laurel Road Maintenance & Security. No large trucks, low boys or other equipment of any contractor shall be parked on the right-of-way except for loading or unloading equipment and never overnight. |
| 4. Fires: There shall be no burning of construction waste material or any fire without a permit from the fire department and notice to the gate. |
| 5. Trees: There shall be no cutting of trees by any contractor or worker which is not permitted by the Declaration of Protective Covenants, Restrictions and Reservations, and the Architectural Review Board. The owner and/or contractor and/or worker shall be held responsible for any such violation(s). No debris from any tree shall be placed in the road right of way or on an adjoining lot. |
| 6. Speeding: The speed limit for automobiles is 25 miles per hour on main roads and 15 miles per hour on feeder gravel and paved roads. All dump trucks, low boys and other large vehicles shall not exceed 20 miles per hour on main roads. The penalty for the first offence may be up to $50, up to $100 for the second offence and $100 and/or being barred from the premises for the third or other offenses. |
| 7. Identification: A windshield sticker or other identification shall be placed in each contractor's or worker's vehicle to identify those who have received a copy of or have signed this agreement. |
| 8. Road Use: All delivery, contractor and service vehicles shall use main feeder roads whenever possible. Residential lanes and roads are meant for local residents, and should be used when the business is directly related to a property located on the lane or road. |
| 9. Litter: All personnel must refrain from any type of littering. Contractors must monitor their construction sites for trash and no one should deposit any trash or debris along the roadside. |
| 10. Responsibility: All contractors shall be responsible for any violation of the above rules by any of his/her agents, servants, subcontractors or employees and for making sure that each worker or subcontractor has a copy of and is familiar with this document. |
