Bald Mountain Key Procedures |
| The United States Forest Service has imposed tight
restrictions on vehicular access to the top of Big Bald Mountain.
The failure of Bald Mountain Development Corporation to comply with these
restrictions could result in the elimination of anyone being able to drive
to the top of Big Bald Mountain.
Therefore, we do encourage Wolf Laurel residents to park at the gate and walk to the top if possible. However, for those preferring to drive, we ask that you follow the key procedures below: |
| 1. All keys are numbered and will be issued from the Security Gate. Please call 828-689-2111 in advance to reserve a key. |
| 2. You must be a member of the Village Amenity Program, sign the Key Contract and agree to leave your driver's license at the Security Gate while you have the key checked out. |
| Thank you in advance for your understanding and compliance to these procedures; by doing so, we all will be able to continue to enjoy vehicular access to the top. |
